[会议背景介绍]

The Second International Conference on Boron Chemistry (ICBC-II) sponsored by Chinese Chemical Society will be held between July 14-17, 2019 in Taiyuan, Shanxi, P. R. China. ICBC-II will be co-organized by Shanxi University, Henan Normal University, and Shanxi Chemical Society. Professor Zuowei Xie from Chinese University of Hong Kong will be the chair of the conference and professor Lai-sheng Wang from Brown University will be the chair of the academic committee. On behalf of the organizing committee, we warmly invite you to attend the conference to share the latest developments in boron chemistry and materials science.

ICBC-II builds on the success of ICBC-I held in Henan Normal University in 2017. This meeting will provide an international forum for presentation and discussion of new findings in all aspects of boron chemistry, including but not limited to the syntheses and characterizations, electronic structures and chemical bonding, dynamics and catalysis, and other properties and applications of boron compounds and nanoclusters as well as 1D, 2D, and 3D boron nanomaterials. Your participation will help to make ICBC-II a great success. The program of the conference will include plenary lectures, invited talks, oral presentations, and a poster section.

Shanxi province is located in north China on the east bank of the Yellow River. It used to be the cradle of Chinese Civilization.
